Each little tweak in the process affects its following steps and stages. I represent this borderline state as the interaction between the surface and the underground – wide fields with dry grass, pressed to the ground by strong cold autumn winds, and the underground with everything that hides in its deep darkness. The plant in my work symbolizes the autonomy of a living being and the incredibly strong and indestructible desire to live, dream, and create. This energy drives life to sprout through time and social influences.

The Filter
The Filter 2017 metal, plastic, film 400 x 150 x 200 cm The lower part of his body is gray and barely transparent like smog. The rainbow part is a magical filter – a symbol of purification and destruction of the dragon/smog. And then, all the transparent and light matter rises into the sky – clean air. The object was exhibited at the conference PropTech Riga 2018
