My practice is rooted in figurative painting and the human body as a carrier of experience, tension and personal stories. I also work with installation and materials that introduce unpredictability into the process.<\/p>

My original Micopainting technique uses forest mushrooms as an artistic medium. Their organic traces become part of figurative works or develop into more abstract, material-based compositions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What remains within us<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My work grows from personal experience, but reaches beyond the personal. I am interested in what remains within us after an experience has passed: emotion, tension, vulnerability, desire, fear, and the stories we carry through the body.<\/p>
