Created using my original Micopainting technique, this work begins with forest mushrooms as an artistic medium, later developed in oil.
The male body here is turned away — exposed, yet restrained. Adam stands in quiet tension, his hands crossed behind his back, as if holding something unseen. The gesture suggests control, containment, perhaps even inherited silence.
Organic fungal structures spread across his skin like dark imprints. They are not wounds, not decay — but traces.
Traces of expectations, unspoken duties, inherited strength, and the pressure to endure.
Society often teaches men to conceal vulnerability, to carry weight without complaint. The body remains upright, composed — yet the inner archive remembers. The textures embedded into the surface become a metaphor for that silent accumulation. Experience does not disappear; it settles into identity.
