still life

Still life has been a space for observation, colour and experimentation throughout different periods of my practice. Flowers and everyday objects often begin with something simple: a shape, a colour, a particular light or moment that catches my attention.

In later works, these subjects sometimes carry a more personal meaning. I became increasingly interested in the beauty of fading and decay, often waiting for flowers to wilt before painting them. In some works, still life becomes a way to speak indirectly about relationships, exhaustion, fragility and inner states.
