Striped Still Life was created during my time in Kraków, Poland, and reflects both the discipline of academic training and the freedom of personal expression. The bold yellow and white striped fabric unfolds across the surface, contrasting with the deep blues and greens of bottles, ceramics, and everyday objects. Each element — the glass bottle, the ceramic cup, the wooden board, and the delicate flowers — contributes to a carefully balanced still life composition.

I wanted this painting to celebrate the beauty of ordinary objects and the harmony of color and texture. The striped cloth becomes the central rhythm of the work, while the play of light and shadow adds a sense of intimacy and depth. This contemporary still life combines the traditions of realism with expressive brushwork, turning a simple arrangement into a vibrant and meditative scene.
