The Black Series explores the body as a space of vulnerability, tension and presence. These works focus on what is hidden, carried or left unspoken.
Darkness in the series can suggest the circumstances a person is forced to live within, but it can also act as a curtain, separating the figure from the surrounding world. Against this darkness, the body becomes more visible, revealing both fragility and the inner strength that remains.
