Installations
Installation allows me to work beyond the surface of a painting and bring an idea into physical space. I use objects, found materials and different media to explore relationships between the individual, the environment and the systems we live within.
Some works begin with personal experience, others with social or environmental observations. What matters to me is how an idea changes when it becomes something the viewer can physically encounter, move around and experience in space.
